I’ve been using ymca.org to look up programs near me, it’s been more helpful than I expected. I wasn’t totally sure at first if it would be the kind of place I’d feel comfortable, but the Y really does seem welcoming to everyone, families, kids, older adults, all kinds of people. I never felt like I was being judged or like I didn’t belong. It just has a friendly, community kind of vibe, which I really appreciate.

The membership prices were easy enough to find, which I appreciated because I’m always a little worried about getting fooled by hidden costs. I just wish the class fees showed up earlier in the process so I didn’t have to keep clicking around to know the full price.

I swim at the YMCA a few times a week, and overall the pool is usually clean and well taken care of. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the locker room can get wet at times, which feels like a preventable issue with a little more attention. Still a solid experience overall. 4 stars

Finding my class schedule is easy and I can figure out my week without overthinking it. Updates show up fast too, which is nice when stuff changes last minute

Getting in is simple, with close parking, ramps, and wide doors. The locker room and pool area have been accessible too.
